The Child Rights Special Grama Sabha was held on 4th February 2011 at Oorukunte Mitturu, Mulbagal taluk, Kolar district. Grama panchayath president, GP member, PDO officer, PHC Doctor, Anganawadi supervisor, Anganawadi workers, School teachers, Grama vikasa NGO representator and children's representators of 11 villages under the control of panchayath jurisdiction were participated in the programme.
Following demands were given by the children
* we need teachers for the school
* Toilets problem in schools
* Doctor giving used siring(Injunctions)
* water problem
* Play ground problem
* High school aqueired primary school rooms
* There was no cleaning in M.Kothooru village school and Anganawadi teacher not coming to Anganawadi, Transport problem for all villages of Mitooru panchayath
* poultry form should be ban
* Quarie work has going on, so it was very disturbing for village people and children so plz stop this
The following regulations made by GP
* within the date of 11th feb 2011 GP members should visit to every school, than find the problems with SDMC and School teacher.
* From panchayath wont give permission for poultry form at any cost.
* complaint against quarry people from panchayath and solved within one month.
* PDO officer accept to do Child Rights Special Gram Sabha in meaningful in the academic year
